Exclusive: JPMorgan payments chief Georgakopoulos to leave, according to memo

NEW YORK, June 3 (Reuters) – JPMorgan Chase’s (JPM.N), opens new tab global head of payments, Takis Georgakopoulos, is leaving to pursue other opportunities after leading the business since 2017, according to an internal memo seen by Reuters on Monday.
Max Neukirchen and Umar Farooq have been picked as his successors, effective immediately. The appointments are the latest big leadership changes put in place by CEO candidates Jennifer Piepszak and Troy Rohrbaugh as they put their stamp on the newly-merged commercial and investment banking division.
